DE'BARN DE'BARN .....

I had to post this one as it is a milestone occasion. The front of the barn is painted and the scaffolding is down for the last time. What a wonderful site to see. Of course the two sides and the bottom half of the back still have to be wire brushed and painted, but as John always says "It's as good as done". I am taking before and after photos for Jim and Jen to see when they come home but won't bore the rest of you with them. Thank goodness for technology (computers, digital cameras, and the web).

Dad,
You look like Moses parting the Red Sea - leaving captivity behind and finally walking into freedom after a long, oppressive struggle to the end! The bane, I mean, barn looks great! I hope it won't become your second hide-away. Louis the 14th built Versaille to get out of Paris and then built another house a mile away to get out of Versaille....avoid emulating French rulers at all costs. It really does look sharp and I'm hoping you can finally rest a little after this one. "Take it easy" comes to mind. Now you all just have to fill it up so you can make plans for the next barn...
Mom, great picture and keep it up with the camera!
